As a tea lover - I couldn’t resist treating myself @chichasanchen.nyc . The shop in Taiwan has been awarded what’s referred to as the equivalent of three Michelin stars by the International Taste Institute for its teas. Make sure to book in advance for the tea tasting – you get to taste all of the different roasts of tea from dark to light.. My favorite was the dawn tea.

I loved it so much - had to order 4 to go, I love that the to go teas are made fresh in “espresso style“, and I got my favorite to go drink from there, honey osmanthus! Make sure to share with someone you want to go try with!

I don’t know about you but retail therapy is exhausting! A good massage is just the cure! From the incredible spa @fsnydowntown - Where they make you feel like a princess and you float out of the spa afterwards. Make sure to ask for Jenna - she managed to get knots out of my shoulders that I didn’t know were there - then relax in the steam room and rehydrate in the lounge. I also loved going for a leisurely swim in the members-only pool to work up an appetite for dinner. It’s the perfect end to a busy morning shopping in Soho.

When the world’s burdens seem heavy, it brings me comfort to remember the little pleasures that make the load easier to bear. Being in nature, sunrises, belly laughs, a warm cup of tea, books, desserts with friends, kittens, clean sheets, sunshine through autumn leaves, the sound of the ocean, the feel of rain on my face, beautiful music and art. Just remember to breathe.
