The person behind the adventures…

Adventures of Peony was created as the discerning aesthete’s destination for all things luxury and wellness. Encouraging you to romanticize and luxuriate in daily moments and create a life that is filled with essential luxuries – every day – as luxury is a love language.

As an ambivert, you will either find me dressed to the nines about town with my friends or at home reading a book, immersed in a bubble bath with some jazz or Kpop in the background. My style is a duality of evening gowns, or minimalist neutral chic. I have a penchant for jumping on a plane to find another adventure, usually clutching my journal and a camera, to capture the beautiful architecture and history, preferably while driving a vintage car.

Currently, based in New York City, after growing up in London and Hong Kong, with brief stints in Japan, Australia, and Singapore. One of my favorite pastimes, wherever I am – is exploring the culinary and wellness scene. Food to me, is a symphony of nourishment, heritage, and experimentation. I’m equally likely to be found in Michelin-starred fine dining, as a hole in the wall.

As a former surgeon, wellness – mental, spiritual, and physical – is always on my mind. My desire to challenge myself to become my best self in a state of luxurious wellness is as likely to take me skydiving in a new country as it is to a lecture hall – and I hope I can perhaps empower you to do the same – for whatever it is that makes you feel your best self.
